AppleTree Markets is Daily Apple’s non-profit organization, dedicated to maintaining a farmers’ market for the community, with an emphasis on local produce, cooking demonstrations, and free music and fitness classes…all in an effort to promote green living in a highly urban neighbourhood.

Our goal is to encourage people to learn more about fresh foods: where they come from, how they are grown, and how they can improve your health. Our mission is support local farmers, producers, artisans, artists, small neighbourhood shops and like-minded organizations. We ask people to think globally and shop locally, because the smallest things in life really do make a big difference.

AppleTree Market has a new location: PEDESTRIAN SQUARE!

The road space at Yonge and Orchard View has been closed to cars and furnished with café tables and chairs, sun umbrellas and planters. Every Thursday afternoon, the pedestrian square will feature the AppleTree Farmers' Market. Shop for the finest quality meat, cheese, produce and bakery items in North Toronto! Join us every Thursday from 11am to 7pm and say hello to your favourite farmers!
